Thank you to my violin teacher, Kamen Petkov, for teaching me how to play more musically with dynamics, phrasing and direction. I also want to thank Maryna Meshcherska for accompanying me and for offering me a rehearsal before my violin recital. This will be my second violin recital. I participated in the DAMTA Scholarship Competition and I won the scholarship. I took my annual music AIM exam right after the competition. Afterwards, I went with several with my music friends to a park and had a lot of fun. I am sharing a highlight of my performance from the actual competition.

I have learned violin for 2 years and this was my first violin performance in assisted living. I also played piano and invited my friend, Garrett to perform with me. He was the only one who was able to come since April was a very busy month for many of my music friends. Next time, I might invite along a piano accompanist to play with me. This is a self-taught Chinese piece that I love - Farewell.

This was a wonderful performance chance for me to perform my pieces on stage. ISG's annual pie day event takes place on March 14th (since it lines up with 3.14 which is π) and I was offered an chance to perform. I really enjoyed sharing my music with the community-this was really fun for me.
